Question SuSE 10 amarok xine kaffeine totem for amd 64 help

Hi, I read many posts and tried so many things regarding installing xine and kaffeine. I'm unsuccessful. i installed mplayer which was very easy. with xine, i couldn't get it to play dvd after initial installation. Then I found a website http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/ and there were packages for 64 bit processor because i own an amd 64. I followed the instruction in readme.txt but still unsuccessful. Then I installed 32 bit version from same website and that installed xine. Now problem is I can't play dvd with kaffeine.
When I try to install kaffeine or amarok, it says it requires libxine.so.1()(64bit). So i upgraded linxine1 to x86_64 using yast and installed kaffeine and amarok. now xine won't play dvds neither does kaffeine.
In order to get xine to play dvd, i had to uninstall libxine, and xine-ui and reinstall 32 bit version of libxine and libdvdcss. Then xine plays dvd. I've done this about 30 times with different version and dependency selection. What am i doing wrong? Please help me figure this out. I can watch dvd but this bothers me that I can't install kaffeine, totem or amarok. I wonder if this is just related to amd 64 owners. Thanks.

Talking Finally Figured Out! :-)

After all this wasn't that hard. I tell you what confused me.
I downloaded libdvdcss2 from http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br...x86_64-suse91/ and navigated to the folder where libdvdcss2 was with Konqueror. I clicked the file and clicked install with YaST. Strange thing was that yast was downloading libdvdcss2 from suse site instead of installing what i downloaded. I finally caught it after 35th try. :-)
Well as soon as i figured that out, i opened up my console and

rpm -i libdvdcss2-1.2.8-3.x86_64.rpm
rpm -i libxine1-1_rc5-0.x86_64.rpm

After that i was cruising. I installed xine-ui, totem, kaffeine, amarok and amarok-xine via YaST.
No problem at all. :-)
Now I can sleep.
