Java version problem

Hi,
i have Debian Lenny,
I want to install this version(java-6-sun-1.6.0.06) of Java to connect it with iReport, when i use (apt-get install sun-java6-jdk), it installs
(java-6-sun-1.6.0.12) instead of (java-6-sun-1.6.0.06).

can anyone help me how to install (java-6-sun-1.6.0.06) on lenny?

Thank you all

java-6-sun-1.6.0.06 is old and not secure plus newer java versions are compatible with older java usually.

But you can still most likely install it.

http://snapshot.debian.net/package/sun-java6

apt line for this package:

deb http://snapshot.debian.net/archive pool sun-java6
deb-src http://snapshot.debian.net/archive pool sun-java6

then, you can install specific version of package as follows:

apt-get install binary-package=version

or you can install specific version of source package as follows:

apt-get source package=version

or look for it here: http://snapshot.debian.net/archive/2...e/s/sun-java6/
