Java version problem

i have Debian Lenny,
I want to install this version(java-6-sun- of Java to connect it with iReport, when i use (apt-get install sun-java6-jdk), it installs
(java-6-sun- instead of (java-6-sun-

can anyone help me how to install (java-6-sun- on lenny?

java-6-sun- is old and not secure plus newer java versions are compatible with older java usually.

But you can still most likely install it.

apt line for this package:

deb pool sun-java6
deb-src pool sun-java6

then, you can install specific version of package as follows:

apt-get install binary-package=version

or you can install specific version of source package as follows:

apt-get source package=version
