How to set Opera as default web browser?

Hi,
I have RedHat Linux 9.0 in my system and I recently installed Opera 7.53. I want to make Opera as my default web browser (desktop is KDE). How do I do that? Is there any environment variable I have to change? When I click any link from some applications Mozilla get loaded. I want Opera to do this. Any idea or suggestions. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
thanks for your info. Now it opens the html file in Opera. O.k what abot URL links? It still getting loaded in Mozilla.
