I am using RedHat linux 9.0 in my system. I am using Opera 7.53 to browse the net. But it was not set as the default web browser (Under KDE). If I click a link from some other applications that web page get loaded in Mozilla. I want to use Opera as my default web browser. I searched thru the net but I couldn't find any useful information. Do I have to set any environment variable? Any suggestions please. Thanks in advance.

Create or find a HTML document. Right-click on the icon, choose properties, click the little box with the hammer and wrench at the end of the "Type" line. This will bring you to a dialogue box with a list of applications used to open a HTML document. Highlight Opera and move it to the top of the list. If Opera is not on the list you can add it easily from this same location.

I just realized that with RH 9.0 you may be using an earlier version of KDE (I'm using 3.2.3). The process is essentially the same. The Hammer and Wrench icon part is a newer addition. You'll just have to poke arround a bit.
