Hmm, cant log on to irc.mircx.com w/ xchat

For some reason I cannot get onto irc.mircx.com using xchat. It comes up saying "invalid username", I let it retry over and over with no luck. Using mIRC in windows I can connect no problem. Is mircx somehow an mIRC only server? What else might the problem be?

Yeah, ive tried a couple. Strange thing is the same thing happens with some other irc servers as well, but it usually connects after a couple tries. With mircx it never connects at all.
