hello readers i found one idea

my ISP is blocking the irc port(194).

my DNS proxy server server address is 10.1.1.50 and port 3128.

[staff@localhost staff]$ nmap 10.1.1.50

Starting nmap 3.50 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2005-04-14 16:34 IST
Interesting ports on 10.1.1.50:
(The 1656 ports scanned but not shown below are in state: closed)
PORT STATE SERVICE
22/tcp open ssh
111/tcp open rpcbind
3128/tcp open squid-http

Nmap run completed -- 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 19.836 seconds
[staff@localhost staff]$

[staff@localhost staff]$ nmap -p 194 10.1.1.50

Starting nmap 3.50 ( http://www.insecure.org/nmap/ ) at 2005-04-14 16:35 IST
Interesting ports on 10.1.1.50:
PORT STATE SERVICE
194/tcp closed irc

Nmap run completed -- 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 0.422 seconds
[staff@localhost staff]$

with is how can i open that port??

or just changing my system settings i can connect to servers??

is it possible to open the port??

or any other different IRC client is there to download and use it?

please help me..
