help with binutils!!!!!
im trying to use gcc and i need binutils 1.12.90.0.4.rpm

They should have come with your distro, on the CDROM, but here ya go:

ok when i try it says it CONFLICTS with other install, now hwat>?

try
rpm -Uhv binutils-whatever.rpm
if it still conflicts (not deps) use --force flag
rpm -Uhv --force binutils-whatever.rpm
