Help Output ( Usage )


so when you 'app -help', usage kicks out.

Any know a web site that advices that proper format and content for USAGE: output?

Do you have suggestions?

Here's an example

if [ $# == 0 ] || [ $1 == "-h" ] || [ $1 == "--help" ] ; then
echo "do this"
echo "do that"
echo "do this and that"
fi

Edit: It may be easier to do it this way...

if [ $# == 0 ] || [ $1 == "-h" ] || [ $1 == "--help" ] ; then
echo "do this
do that
do this and that"
fi
