Hash of mystery audio files -> ID3 information database?

Hello all,

I have some mp3 and ogg vorbis files that have no ID3 tag information and non-descriptive filenames like "80252861". Assuming other people may have the same files, but with the meta information attached, is there some software in the open source world for checking hashes of the audio portion of a file against some large database full of hashes and corresponding ID3 tag information?

Thanks,
Ewolf

Nevermind, found the answer myself after some Wikipedia surfing for "Hash functions".

Picard connects to the MusicBrainz database and is written in python. Just what I was looking for.
