grub error when installing debian
I have three harddisk. The first one is 40G(P-ATA, for backup, no system is installed), the second one is 80G(SATA, for linux), and the last one is 160G(SATA2, for windowsXP).
For the first time, I installed the winXP. After that, I was going to install debian through 'debian-31r2-i386-netinst.iso'. Fellowing each steps, After I completed the partition step, it called me to make GRUB to be master boot loader. I chose 'yes'. At that time, the system have to restart. normally, it will appear a list of GRUB for choice. But it just appear a wrong message, 'Error loading operating system'. I can't handle anything! I only know that 40G for 'hd0'(Primary Master). 80G for 'hd1(sda)'(3rd Master). 160G for 'hd2(sdb)'(4th Master).
Now, howto fix this problem that it won't appear the error message? and install the debian completely?
