gnome-2.14 shutdown/reboot menu

hi,

i install gnome-2.14 but i can only logout no
shutdown/reboot menu

how can i shutdown/reboot from gnome-2.14

try downloading the gnome sources and compliling.

In the meantime, open up a shell and run the following as root:

"init 6" for reboot
"init 0" for shutdown

Are you using GDM as the login manager? If not, then you will not have the shutdown/reboot options.
