Anyone know how to add the options for reboot and shutdown to the gnome logoff for regular users. This is a single user home machine so no security concerns at local basis. I tried googling and could not find the answer. Thanks for any help.
But I am one of them that was getting the constant crashing of Nautilus with Dropline. I had to reinstall Slackware and stick with the base Gnome to avoid it.
I tried gdmsetup. I enabled the Enable Actions Menu which was the only one that sounded suitable. I still do not get the options appearing in my logout menu. I tried settiing my inittab to level 4 to see if I needed to start gnome from GDM but that didn't make a difference either. Is there another step or suggestion.
I looked through /etc/group and didn't see any likely candidates. I am already listed in sys for sound purposes. There isn't a shutdown or halt group. Any suggestions of which group. Thanks.
