Gimp and Photoshop

Does anybody know of any way I can transfer some of my Filters from Photoshop into GIMP? I hate to switch between the two all the time.

I wish the text tools for gimp were like Photoshop do miss that.. and GIMP treat layers/floating layers etc. differently :\

Should have like a 'profile' loader on ini startup and have an option for 'behave like Photoshop' er something.
