gentoo 64 bit wont see fat32


first off i DO have fat32 support compiled into the kernel. wheneve ri try and mount it i get the wrong fs type ro whatever error. My friend said this was a bug in the earlier 2.6.9 kernel i think but i have using 2.6.10 from kernel.org. can anyone help me out here.

What exactly are you trying to mount?

nevermind i figured it out. I guess when you compile the kernel in a 64 bit environment the default US native language support isnt selected.
