mounting fat32 in gentoo 64


whenever i try to mount my fat32 partition in gentoo 64 bit it says wrong file system or bad block whatever that error says. it mounts fine in the 32 bit version. this also does this with floppies. whats going on?

you didn't compile the vfat module? is it listed in lsmod?
