Full server (terminal) crash on UT2004 ucc-bin usage

No matter what parameters I use, any instantiation of the ucc-bin executable completely crashes my entire linux box, forcing me to do a hard-shutdown and reset the BIOS before it will boot again.

It hangs at "Missing Translocator Class" and the entire box ceases to function.

I am using the dedicated server 3339 with Bonus Packs, and my log is blank after the restart.

I have run a server before, some of you might remember Diademed's Love Shack, but now, the binary refuses to co-operate. Help?

just seems funny that it crashes the whole machine instead of just the server process....

2.6.13 kernel

EDIT:

Yikes-- sorry, should have gone in the Games section I guess--

/EDIT

Its probably a corrupted file. Try re-installing UT2004. It does help to use ECC memory for any kind of server.

This is a server -- I have re-installed twice, and repatched multiple times. I have tried the stock Slack 2.4 Kernel, also. Next step is to try a different version of the server. It is just funny how it crashes....

Bump--

It seems to happen sometimes, and sometimes it works... about 70/30 in favor of non-functioning.

Could this be hardware related? I have never had this problem before.
