Format converters for PC Linux OS

Hello, I am looking for two types of converters. One is something to convert MS outlook pst files into thunderbird mbx files.

I am also looking for something which converts avi files into audio. My current platform is PC Linux OS.

For your pst files, try readpst. http://alioth.debian.org/frs/?group_...release_id=941

I don't want to convert avi into cd movie format. I simply want to extract the audio from the avi to play back on my cd player. This is just a lecture I want to listen to while on the go.

The burning software I have on Pc Linux is Acid rip and sound juicer. Would any of them do it.?

I also have K3b.

Thanks for the tip on the pst converter. Will let you know how I get on.
