file association problem...

hi,

how do i associate the jar files in my linux box with the "java -jar" executable such that the jar file can be executed in my desktop when i click it?

i've been having troubles with this lately. every time i click on my jar file, what comes is the file roller.

gnome (that which comes bundled with mandrake 9.1 and redhat 9.0 - i am using two linux os)

Go to "Applications"->"Desktop Preferneces"->"Advanced"->"File types and programs"

there you can add a ney file type and associate with any program.
