Fatal X server error.....

hi there:

while trying to set up the dual display with my FC2 on a toshiba laptop (trident cyberbladeXPAi1 video card), i got the following error message and X could not start at all.

Fatal server error:
Requested Entity already in use!

i am not quite sure what it means and where to look for information to solve it, can anyone help?

ps, this is also a dual boot system with XP, and in XP, dual display works fine.
