digital camera picture viewer

anyone have recommendations for a viewer for pictures on a digital camera? I had a couple on suse that I thought were alright and I can't remember what they are, but am running slackware now and xcam is uncooperative to say the least (and tonight I feel like saying a whole lot more....).

thanks

Hi.

I use gtkam to grab my photos from my camera. It uses gphoto2 as the back-end. It's quite simple, but it works.

i just mount my camera and copy the photos to my home folder:

mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera

cp /mnt/camera/* /home/example/photos

to view the photos i don't use anything fancy, mainly kuickshow i guess, but it all depends on my mood...

here's a link with lots of image viewers for linux:

I currently use Digikam, it is a very very nice application for veiwing and simple editing of digital photos.
