Question Dell Bluetooth keyboard, keep getting 'Page Timeout'

I recently got a Dell bluetooth keyboard, and I haven't had any luck with getting it to connect. I've tried with both the Blueman manager and with the process recommended here (https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=125166) and either way I get basically the same results with hcidump.

Here's what I get from Blueman:
HCI sniffer - Bluetooth packet analyzer ver 5.37
device: hci0 snap_len: 1500 filter: 0xffffffffffffffff

status 0x04 handle 0 bdaddr 00:07:61:B1:5E:97 type ACL encrypt 0x00
Error: Page Timeout

And here's what I get when I try from the command line:
HCI sniffer - Bluetooth packet analyzer ver 5.37
device: hci0 snap_len: 1500 filter: 0xffffffffffffffff

Error: Page Timeout

I'm running Mint 17.1, MATE 1.8.1, kernel is 3.13.0-39-generic.

Halp?

What bluetooth device is this USB? I ask because I have one I purchased and I know that the firmware that is needed to be able to use headphones is not installed. I found a post on the companies web site how to fix this. But if this is not the same device this will not work for you.

Please post back the output of

lsusb and lspci

I just do not see any USB bluetooth hardware listed was it connected?

I may have thought in my head and not posted this. With the usb connected
please post the output of

Sudo lspci -v

This will give more information than lspci like drivers loaded etc. I should have asked for this the first time i must have been sleepy.
