Unhappy Dell Inspiron 8100: No scancodes from Page Up Page Down keys

The problem is pretty simple: Page Up and Page Down keys don't work. Home and End works, Insert and Delete works. EVERY key works, except those two.

I tried showkey -s

on a non-X console, and I get scancodes for every key on the keyboard except those two.

That means it's not XF86Config-4. It's the main keyboard driver, currently configured for US standard (the default).

I dual boot this laptop into windows, and the pageup/pagedn keys work fine there.

Mandrake 10.0

uname -a :
2.6.3-7mdk #1 Wed Mar 17 15:56:42 CET 2004 i686 unknown unknown GNU/Linux

Where do I get a driver that can understand my keyboard?

i8kutils might be able to help (as a quick fix)? It was developed primarily to help with FN key mapping/hardware support on inspiron 8xxx systems, but it might be able to recognize any key on those keyboards.

I'm running fedora c4 on an inspiron 8000, and the "Dell Inspiron 8xxx" keyboard drivers are included with the distribution.. my only problem is with the "FN" keys. Everything else works. So the drivers DO exist you just might have to hunt for them :\
(my FN key might be shorting out, anyone else run an 8xxx system and have the FN keys working?)
