Debian 8 disable dhcp client

Can anyone tell me how to permanently disable the DHCP client in Debian 8? I've searched high and low and cannot find this information.

Thanks.

Try running the cmd here in this thread-
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...e-dhcp-901548/

If that doesn't help maybe read the man page.

Code:
man dhclient.conf
<OR> find the .config file and comment out the request line.

Hope that helps.
