it depends on what distribution you are using.
can you get the files out of the packages or install
xfreebase, then delete it all except what apsfilter needs?
my old libX11.so is just 800k, and the other was 300k.
libpng is small.

i doubt you can get them separately, unless you can get
somebody to mail them to you from whatever
distribution you are using. keep in mind that just because
the file you download has the correct name, that doesn't
mean it will work. it needs to be linked against the same
version of libc and otherthings as yours.
