Change cursor position for 'up arrow' in terminal
I just switched from gentoo to ubuntu. In gentoo when I would use the 'up' arrow on the keyboard to get the last command, the cursor would be at the end of the line. In Ubuntu the cursor is at the start of the line.
This happens in bash and zsh, urxvt and xterm. With or without screen. It even happens on the terminal when I am not in X.
How do I change this? I have had the cursor go to the end of the line in command history for 10 years now, it will be hard to adjust.
