Black and White Stripes problem

Hi everyone,

I have a problem in many lists like the file open dialog box, Kopete friends list, adding applet list and others. The lists in many places like these appear striped in White and Black so I can't see any text in the black ones until I click on them to highlight their text. (Screen shots below)

Things to try:

* Change your color scheme

* Change your Window decorations

Both of which can be found under Kcontrol->Appearance & Themes

To open kcontrol, find it in the K-Menu, or launch it by typing kcontrol in the launch window
