audio and video not syncing with mplayer.

hi. Im trying to watch some iptv shows that i downloaded using mplayer. The voice and video does not match up. Im ok with it not being perfect but the voice is lagging so far behind that you don't hear the audio till the next scene. Is there anything i can do with mplayer to get it to sync better? Is that anything i have any control over or is that something t hat happened on their end while editing? Thanks for any replies in advance.

try adding an "-autosync 30" option, or manually adjusting the delay with the + and - keys
