- What is the name of the virtual Ethernet device you have added in VMware?
- If you configured an Ethernet device when installing the OS what are its /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcg-eth* contents?
- Is the networking service enabled and active and what does 'systemctl status network.service;' return?
- When you boot your VM, what does 'dmesg; journalctl -xn; ifconfig -a; lspci;' say about the Ethernet device?

you ARE going to buy the REQUIRED license from redhat ? right?

RHEL is not free , though there is a 30 day free trial

redhat sales
https://www.redhat.com/wapps/store/catalog.html

you really DO need to buy the support contract if you are going to use RHEL7
or install the FREE!!! rebuild of the source code " CentOS 7.0"

also
Did you read the install guide ?
and did you read the guide for installing a guest on your VM ?

rhel and cent are using the same redhat documentation
https://access.redhat.com/documentat...erprise_Linux/

the rhel7 install guide
https://access.redhat.com/documentat...ide/index.html

Get to know your VMware product by reading its documentation or see https://www.vmware.com/support/ws55/...vadapters.html.
