Dear all,
I m facing " "No Drives Found- No valid devices were found on which to create new file system" error message while installing Oracle Linux 5.8/5.9 on HP Prolint DL580 Gen8 server. The HP server has 10 HP SAS 300 GB drives.

According to the HP support matrix, Oracle Linux 5 is not supported on the DL580 Gen8 server. You can check requirements at http://h17007.www1.hp.com/us/en/ente...cle_linux.aspx
