Hello,

First of all, can you post us the exact error that you are getting? Telling us "this error or something like bla..." does not help at all. Also, please spell out your words, and don't say words like "urgent," as this pretty much makes us not want to help you at all. We all value our time on a volunteer basis; We don't need to help you, we just do.

Cheers,

Josh

Hmm, I don't like the sound of that. Can you boot into the live media, and attempt to mount your hard drive? Doing it that way should give us better output.

And for the record, please don't click on "No I didn't find this post helpful" unless it really didn't help. I was only telling the truth...........

You should be able to boot into either a "live" mode, or rescue mode from the CD. Once you do that, browse to /dev/ and look for block devices that start with either hd or sd; These will be your hard drive. From there, mount the appropriate device with the "mount" command. Another question while I am at it - Is the hard drive an IDE drive or a SATA drive?

Sounds like your hard drive is dead.... Have you tried booting a live version of any distro, particularly of centOS, and tried accessing the drive like I said? I would also check your connections to the hard drive just to make sure.
