Unhappy Wireless HELP!!!

Hi, i have a CNM Book and the wireless is not connecting, My ISP is Virgin running on a net gear wireless router. My desk top is connecting fine to my network but the CNM book just will not connect.... I have tried to reset the machine but that doesn't seem to work either. When i try to connect, it is showing an IP address, but when i open the browser it says that server not found...

I have read that it might need the firmware upgrading to V70, would this effect the wireless connection if it hasn't been updated?

Thanks in advance

Does it have to be an SD card that it goes on to, or can i use a memory stick? my son did have an SD card but he seems to have misplaced it!! But he has 2 USB Memory sticks could i use 1 of these?

Thanks

I take it you have the Linux version of the SnM book? Have you tried connecting the wifi without any WEP/WPA first? If this fails the problem could be the kernel driver and upgrading the firmware might help. It would be good to verify this with CnM themselves, as they have preconfigured it.

Thanks, i have already sent them an email. Its weird how it has just stopped working, but i have noticed that the firmware upgrade is only to resolve 3G issues.... i might just take it back to maplins and let them sort it out......!!

Cheers
