Belkin Wireless G Plus Desktop Card - Wireless - F5D7001 - version 1323 - SuSE 10.1

I have tried to get my Belkin wireless card working for over a year now and have been using Windows in the meantime (since I have no internet in Linux). Can someone please help me get the card working? I have installed ndiswrapper, but I am not seeing the card. I am using SuSE 10.1 - KDE 3.5.1

Thanks!

According to http://linux-wless.passys.nl/query_p...andname=Belkin your card has a broadcom 43xx chipset. Following the link there, the driver was put in kernel 2.6.17, so I suggest you look into a system / kernel upgrade, or try a recent live CD with the required kernel.

However, if you've been trying for over a year it might be easier just to buy a replacement card. Probably you can sell yours to a Windows user and buy another one for a few dollars second hand - that's what I did with my Safecom card. I'd recommend the Netgear WG311T (note the T) as I have it, and it's very easy to set up on suse 10.x with madwifi.

EDIT: as you can buy and sell the two cards for $25 on amazon.com marketplace (and other sites I'm sure) I'm just going to recommend getting a card that will work.
