winrar in fedora


i've got the command line, i've extracted the files, and i don't know where to go from here.

do you wanna know where you're files are???
just use:
$slocate <a filename from the archive>

Hope I helped

no, i have extracted the winrar tarball. however, the console does not respond to the command "rar" and when i try to open the rar files i have using unrar (its in the drop down menu) nothing happens. although i can see $slocate coming in handy some other time, thanks!
