Will samsung kies work with linux mint 17

Hi,
Will samsung kies work with Linux Mint 17,Ihave linux mint 17 on my laptop and would like to connect my mobile phone Samsung galaxy4 to my laptop, but am not sure if samsung kies will work.Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

If all you are wanting to do is to move files from your Phone to PC or vice versa Linux is now fine for seeing your phone SD card etc as another external drive. Just plug it in using USB card and access the new drive showing. I utilise Dolphin File Manager.
