When i run my CAD application i get segmentation fault in the last line of the error message. i am running from terminal. Please help!!

First of all, what CAD program is it? Not providing us with proper information won't help us help you. What distribution are you using? How are you running it exactly? (Options, argument, etc.) Are you getting any errors or warnings besides the SEGFAULT? If you can, kindly provide us the output of the following command also, using code tags:

For the heck of it, run ldd for that program, and see if all required libraries are being satisfied. Could you also show me what I asked for? It may have to do with the architecture of your machine, and the way it is compiled (32 bit vs 64 bit).

- do you have a license for it?
- is it the first try?
- or did you made a change to your hardware before you tried again?
- did you called the Dassault-Systems hotline?
