Well i am true newbie with linux. But this i cant figure out by my self, so i ask help from here if anyone of gurus would help me.
So i installed mandrake 9.1 and i basically cant get my home pna netadapter to work.
I also have win XP on same machine and net works fine with it so i guess problem is not on hard ware. I did try mandrakes own wizard but it just keeps telling me that cable is unblugged.. home pna card link status light is on,
and as i said on win it works fine. Please help me on this if i just would get net working i could start to really use linux now i all the time have to run WinBlow$ if i want somethig from net. thank you for all who bother to help noobys like me:

One of the first things you should do in this case is check to see if your Ethernet adapter is supported by the Linux Kernel.
The following link will tell you just that.

Anyways, this is the first step...try that and see what you come up with.

PS. You should really look around on www.tldp.org and invest time in reading various HOWTO's listed there. Many people spent many many hours writing them, for you and all other linux users to use for free.
