Uninstalling RedHat 9

Ok, I will try to make this as specific as I can. I have two hard drives; The primary one with Windows 98 on it, and on my secondary HD I have RedHat 9. I need to know how to uninstall RedHat. I figured that you can just delete the partitions, but I think I am missing something, because if I take my secondary HD out (the one with RH), the Grub OS selector thing tries to load, but it will just hang there. A black screen, with the word GRUB on it. So, I need to know exactly how to do this.

Welcome to LQ.

Just delete the partitions, boot with a win98 boot floppy and run:
fdisk /mbr

I am looking to figure out the same thing. I am using XP Home on my second HD, and experienced the same problem. I just want to uninstall Redhat and try a different distro. I tried booting with the CD, but it did not work....
