? to add a command to execute automatically when xwindows loads up


Hey all, I have RH90, and i am trying to get a command 'nvclock' to run automatically when the gnome desktop loads up. does anyone know if there is a file that i can insert this line into?
thanks in advance.

add it to ~/.xsession (or create that file yourself) and it should be executed on every single X load (not just gnome itself...)

If I create the file, should there be anything else in it? (what I read is that if will only execute what you have written in that file and bypass the regular startup. is this correct?) and which folder do I create it in? When I did a research on google.com for it, It constantly referenced the /etc/X11/ directory. I checked and I cannot find that file anywhere so I am assuming I have to create it.
