Targus Port Replicator

I am running RedHat 9 on a Sony Vaio XG39K. Works great! I also have a Targus PA070 Port Replicator that runs off of a USB port. The Parallel, PS/2 and USB ports all run great, but I can't get the serial to go, so my serial interfaced Palm Pilot won't work. Any ideas how I should address this port?

Thanks

Marc, did you ever succeed in getting the Targus PA070 serial port replicator working with Linux? I was trying all day yesterday, and have not yet succeeded. Using kernel 2.4.21, module mct_u232 seems to load automatically and try to take control of the interface, but pressing the sync button on my palm cradle produces no connection to pilot-link. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks....Clayton
