slack and port replicator

hi - i have slackware 9.1 up and running, and it's hooked up to a targus port replicator. the replicator is hooked up to a wireless keyboard/mouse, zip drive, i'd also like to plug in my ethernet cable into this so i don't have to plug/unplug it every time i travel and take my laptop. how would i configure slack to detect it?

any help would be appreciated!
