port replicator with mandrake 9.2

I have a Compaq Presario 1200 laptop that I just installed Mandrake 9.2 on. I have a cable connection, but my laptop doesn't have a network card (nor room for one). My uncle gave me this laptop that was a business computer. A geek dude that worked for him used to use it. It came with a USB port replicator here. targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=PA090U Apparently it's only supported with windows, so I'm having quite the problem now, that I can't get my laptop online. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure about getting the replicator to work but do you not have any PCMCIA slots that you could use for an ethernet connection?
