Hi Everyone

I was recently feeling my way around my PC distro when i came across a screen saver and login screen that i liked. I applied them. then when i restarted my computer it took absolutely forever ( actually never for the desktop to come up except the KDE login Theme screen)now i like what i see but i dread having to reinstall coz ive got work on there and about the only thing i can type on the dhcpp0 shell is reboot. suprisingly enough when booting up one of the entries said FAILED couldn't kill some deamon or other. any help on how to activate and use dhcpp0 shells or repair this problem would be appreciated. I like a challenge.

I use PCLinuxOS and had some stability problems recently myself. In all fairness, it's been almost a year and a half and the frequent electrical outages I experience here in Texas are no help. You might try setting up a new user account and see if you can get to your other data and adjust the eye candy to your liking.
