playing mp3's ?


how can i play mp3 , wma and mpeg files in redhat 9

do i need any software for this

plz help

You'll probably want XMMS (Winamp clone) and the patch that allows Red Hat to play MP3s (they removed the capability due to the MP3 technology not being completely open source). You should already have XMMS. Here's the patch, pick the one for your particular version of RH:

As for MPEG, get MPlayer.
