Alright some of you may remember me, I posted questions on installing Nvidia driver to Mandrake 10.1 a couple of days ago. Well I managed to get it installed, I changed all the neccessary files and when I typed startx I saw the Nvidia logo then I got a blue screen with a bar 3/4 of the way down and then nothing. I can still move the mouse but I can't do anything else. I've gone through the forums and seen that this problem has been posted by various people but has never been given a definitive cause or answer so any help will be appriciated. Also I have the Xorg.0.log if anybody wants me to post it.

I installed the 6111 driver, I wonder if I uninstalled it and installed the 6629 would make a difference? If I decide to try that how do I uninstall the 6111 driver?

I uninstalled the 6111 driver and installed the 6629 driver. I get the same thing except now the bar says "setting up interproccess communication" before it locks up.
