Network card problem


Hi all

I need a solution for my problem

I have a Toshiba C650-132 Model laptop , we have installed RHEL 6.0 , but the onboard Network card is not showing up .but my Wireless LAn card is working and iam able to browse.

I badly need the wired network card to work , bcoz we are installing a EFT switching software and this card is a key .

help me pls

Why in the world would you start it off by [lspci] and end it with an ending quote tag? You make no sense.....

Well, anyway, ....

Try the following:
Code:
modprobe atl1c
(That is A T L 1 C)
Copy and paste it if you can....
After you run that, let me know if it gives an error. If it doesn't, run the following and see if the eth0 device appears:

ifconfig -a
If not, you will need to manually install the driver for your device. Do that first before we go any farther.
