Also I checked the wine browser folder, it was empty, I deleted it anyway. There is a folder in home called wine-pipelight but I think I need that one, or do I?

Did you install ms-truecorefonts? Accept the EULA twice? Did you try the pipelight diagnostic again? You can delete the .wine-pipelight directory, it will be re-created when you open the browser.

So this is what happens. I try to open netflix, I get this


MS true type fonts are not properly installed, would you like to download and install them now? (requires an Internet connection and sudo permissions). I click yes. Which brings up this screen.

It appears that you still have not installed the MS true type fonts. You need to accept the license agreement and install these fonts for Netflix Desktop to work properly.

Pipelight diagnostic:

Please note: not every user agent works on every site, try multiple ones if something doesn't work!

one more note: user agent overrider is working. Thank you for your help and patients.

I went into terminal uninstalled ms fonts and reinstalled them. Low and behold netflix is working!
The audio and vid are not in synk. I will start a new thread for that.
