need help to run proftp

Hi all

I am new user in Proftp. I have installed proftp with
suse 9. First it seem to be clear and i can run the
proFtp server. But i don't know some thing wrong with

user guide. Now my proble is :

Quote:
root@husni:/# proftpd status
husni.mms.co.id - fatal: Socket operation on
non-socket
husni.mms.co.id - (Running from command line? Use
`ServerType standalone' in config file!)
I tried to look at many forums and mr Google, but i
still cannot solve this problem.

I hope some one can help me to solve this problem

Please do not post the same thread more than once, picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
