MDV06, KDE 3.4.2 will only shutdown through CLI.

If i go though the K menu and click on 'shutdown' or 'turn off' my computer acts as if i'd pressed the 'cancel' button.
If i say 'shutdown -r now' to bash, it'll reboot fine.

Any ideas?

Open up the KDE Login Manager (Star->System->Configuration->KDE->System->Login Manager), and check the shutdown tab to make sure that Allow Local Shutdown is set to everybody (only three choices; Everybody, Root, Nobody). My systems allow shutdowns & reboots no problem (Laptop, 3 desktops, all running MDV06).
