Mandrake install problem

I am attempting to install mandrake linux(newest verstion 10.1 or something) on an older pentium @ 166mhz machine. Everything goes fine untill after i select a language. Once i select a language and then hit next, it seems to exit out of the installer and i get the fallowing message on the screen:

sending termination signals...
sending kill signals...
unmounting filesystems...
unmount failed: /tmp/images

Then the comp restarts.

Any help would be great.

I'll ask the easy question and then let the experts take over.

Did the md5sums of your downloads match up?
